predominately to be built on ‘Greenfield’ land  16,000+ new dwellings – houses + flats up to 6 storeys high (Marston Moretaine including Sheltons is currently just 1,900 houses)  lack of new local jobs – just more commuters  congestion from 22,000+ extra cars  a sprawl of houses from Brogborough all the way to Bedford     The Local Impact      Government imposed URBAN living  irreversible development of greenfield land  loss of local farming and jobs  erosion of village communities  increased traffic, noise, pollution and crime
